Why would investors give money to a trader with a 5 year lock up period who places “long” bets on a few firms? I am not sure why, but they apparently do. Billions of bets it seems.

I really can’t comprehend how “Professional Money Managers” like this guy, watch their portfolio go from 100% to -85%. It’s insane!

The longer I’m in this business the more I think trading sucess come from risk mangement and not technical analysis.
Risk management does not get you on the cover of Rolling Stone, but it will keep you alive.
Capital is scarce.
A trader without capital is a trader looking for a job.
