A reader from Russia asks:
Can you tell me how long the training course would normally take to complete and begin trading?
Everyone is different, but we find people should know the material (assuming basic intelligence) within 4-6 weeks. Remember, and of course our situation is not exactly the same, but the Turtle traders were trained in 2 weeks.
You mention being able to trade e-mini’s however there can be some very large price movements which could cause large losses. Can you explain how your course covers this risk?
Risk management is at the core of our training. You will absolutely understand how to deal with and manage risk. You will have precise rules for managing risk across all instruments — including futures. Regardless of price moves, large or small, volatility forces certain risk management constraints on you. In simplest terms more volatility means you trade less.
Do you provide a recommendation as to which stocks, futures etc to trade?
Our training shows you how to assemble a portfolio so you don’t need recommendations. Meaning the idea of trend following trading is to know the process of assembling a portfolio (read: picking what to trade) and once you know the process you will not need recommendations. Good question, but it is very important to make sure you are clear why recommendations, from anyone, are not a wise path.
