You don’t have to be an Old Testament prophet to see what’s going on all around us. A belligerent lower class demanding handouts. A rapidly diminishing middle class crippled by police state bureaucracy. An aloof, ruling elite that has introduced us to an emerging totalitarianism which seeks control over every aspect of our lives. As the meltdown progresses, one of the first things to be affected will be our nation’s food supply. More valuable than silver or gold in a real meltdown…

You would not believe how many of these sort of opinions I read last year when I was following gold bug forums, etc. with lots of “survivalists” being very extreme…

This apocalyptic view is not just with the crazyies and gold bugs anymore. It’s becoming more mainstream. I think most people sense something isn’t quite right and a lot has to do with our current economic situation, combined with massive government debts, increased government spending, and wars that don’t seem to end. People just aren’t very positive about the future of the USA.
