The best thing that we could do for the housing market would be to let it collapse! Home buyers would come in droves to buy homes if they were affordable! Unfortunately, too many baby boomers have their entire net worth tied up in the equity of their homes which is why they are doing everything that they can to keep the housing market propped up. This is just another thing of many gone disastrously wrong in our economy.
