The Internet Arbitrages Everything. Get Used to It and Stop Whining

The crisis of middle-class America is at FT.com today. Only once in the article is the word ‘Internet’ mentioned and that’s only to talk about the ability to surf. The Internet arbitrages everything. Get used to it and stop whining. Good ole days are toast.

Shout to Ritholtz.com for article idea.

Note: No vulgarity or ugly attacks. There are other places for that.

Spoon boy: Do not try and bend the spoon. That’s impossible. Instead… only try to realize the truth.

    Neo: What truth?

Spoon boy: There is no spoon.

    Neo: There is no spoon?

Spoon boy: Then you’ll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

What an insurmountable load of baloney in that 15 minutes and 25 seconds…

  • Jim B.

Sad but true. IMHO, until the dollar exchange rate represents the reality of our economy, this is the sad truth. However, when the dollar exchange rate represents reality, the U.S. will be paying much more for commodities and we will be in even worse shape for awhile until we regain our footing.

Reversion to the mean is going to be painful for everyone – even the Rich.
