CNBC Bias

I like Marc Faber and he makes some interesting points here:

That said, there is a difference in tone and questioning compared to the recent David Harding interview:

    Amazing difference.

Faber feeds them the bones they want – Predictions! And he feeds them all kinds of interesting fundamental stats to consider.

Harding just makes money, year after year for 20+ years, following the trend. No predictions. No fundamental stats.

Agree. I am no Harding fanboy or apologist, but the interviews seemed night and day. Faber was there to say what he wants, unchallenged. Harding was in the mode of responding to a series of questions designed to compare him to LTCM.

What’s Marc Faber’s track record? I’d love to know. Its interesting that these ultra negative guys like Schiff and Faber are lumped in with legit money managers.

    Michael:

Do you a track record for Harding?

    Thanks!
